Customer Service has been part of my career for over 15yrs, Retail for 10yrs, Management for 8yrs. I've learned that the only ingredient for success, is to have that Passion and Drive within you to perform your job to the fullest.
During my employment at Foley’s/Macy’s I was determined to be recognized for my hard work and dedication, so I never stopped to second guess myself. With in 4 months of being employed, I was promoted as HR Staffer for our Brand New Flagship store in Dallas, TX. Soon after that, I was offered the opportunity to begin my career in Management. Four Promotions later, I moved on to Arlington, TX, where I was hired to be the Children’s Department SM, After successfully turning business around (by 12% over plan), developing a strong sales team (15% over customer service target), I gained the title of Regional SM Trainer, and earned the Triple Crown Achievement Award. I believe that my strong leadership, developing and management skills and talents lead me to success with Macy's.
Whiled I worked for Belk Department Store I was open to changing my role to, Visual Merchandising Manager. Soon after being hired I received great feedback on my ability to adapt to a new role in my career, which later I was offered to relocate and take on a larger volume store. I believe that because I was open to change and eager to learn, that made for an even greater career opportunity.
