I am currently searching for a position in System or Network Administration in. My family is in the process of trying to relocate to out of the Northeast, but I must secure employment prior to moving. Relocation assistance is not necessary, but would be helpful if offered.
Over the past three years I have been employed as a Technical Support Specialist for a medical imaging company. As part of my role I have been involved in extensive customer support as well as network configuration. In the past I have been employed as both a System and a Network Administrator.
I hold MCITP, MCSA, and CompTIA Security+ certifications. I am studying to test for my CompTIA Linux+ certification, which I plan to take within the next month. I am also working on my CCNA, although that is going to take some time to achieve. I also have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology and I will complete my Masters of Information Systems in September 2010.
I am a hard worker, a fast learner, and I am determined to advance in the IT industry. I have a passion for networking and security, and I am eager to learn anything that anyone is willing to teach me. Being a very well rounded IT professional and having 10 years of experience, I have knowledge in many aspects of the IT industry. What I am looking for a company that is willing to give me a chance to show them what I am capable of. I am confident, but not over-confident, in the skills and abilities that I possess, and I strive for excellence in everything that I do.
