Verified all insurances for scheduled patients before appointments making sure
they were eligible and assigned to one of our providers.
Also, verified co-pays and if patient was termed called patient before
appointment to advise of termination of insurance.
Helped with referrals by doing paper referrals and sometimes calling insurances to get authorization for referrals that were needed.
Answered incoming calls from doctor offices/specialists that needed info on patient we referred and/or needed to talk to one of our providers.
