Business Development Manager - Starnet is a value added reseller which provides voice and data solutions, including security, video conferencing, data storage/backup and VoIP telephone solutions for the business community. Products include, ShoreTel, Unitrends, Bluecoat, LifeSize, Digium Call Centers and Watchguard. I was tasked with developing new opportunities by daily cold calling, attending lunch and learns and networking with vendors. Created opportunities and sold to the private sector, school districts along with event participation. I have considerable knowledge of the E-rate government grants programs.

Change Account Manager and Special Projects Manager AZNeT - Accenture is an International Technology Consulting firm providing outsource telecommunications voice and data services for existing and new Nortel, Avaya and Cisco system applications along with MPLS, VoIP networks and project management for the State of Arizona in order to increase the State’s seat capacity from 14,000 seats to 39,500 seats.
I was the initial and single-point of contact for the State of Arizona regarding their telecom (Nortel, Avaya and Cisco) requirements to include design and recommendation of PBX systems and networks. Initiated meetings between carriers (Qwest, ATT, etc.) to resolve voice, data and video issues. Project managed the implementation of key and PBX hardware to include MPLS solutions for State Agencies. Ensure participation/coordination of all required resources from carriers and hardware vendors. Ensured end-to-end Nortel, Avaya and Cisco component functionality and design. Confirmed that billing reflects original estimates and that actual work performed meet contract terms. Authorize payment to vendors and accurate charge back to State agency. I was also responsible to identify cost savings annually in the amount of 25 million.

Regional Hardware Solutions Sales Manager - Broadview Networks is a Total Solution Communications company providing voice, data and Internet along with managed services to the business community. Broadview also provides a VoIP hosted telephone system solution through Broadview’s own secure network. Broadview is a Premium Nortel dealer for the IP enabled Business Communications Manager (BCM) IP PBX. Broadview is rated as one of Nortel’s top 100 dealers for BCM sales in 2006. My responsibilities were as follows:
Translated business customer’s needs into a comprehensive sales proposal for hosted and VoIP. Enabled phone systems and presented/sold to prospects. I was responsible for annual quota of 1.5 million in new business. Communicate customer needs to proper internal support structures. Independently monitor and track in-process proposals and project manage the installation of Hardware and network services. Trained new Account Executives initially and provide further training to existing Account Executives in order to develop business and sell Nortel BCM IP enabled phone systems along with Broadview's own hosted IP VKS (Virtual Key System) to end-users.
